Launching Travel With la French was born from a dream, a passion, and a journey that left an indelible mark on me. It results from months of travel, discoveries, encounters, and a deep desire to share all this with you. Here’s how it all began.
A Personal Adventure First and Foremost
In 2023, I made a bold decision: to backpack for a year-long journey through some of the most fascinating countries in Southern and East Africa. My adventure began in South Africa, a country of incredible diversity. From there, I explored the red dunes of Namibia, the pristine beaches of Mozambique, the verdant mountains of Malawi, the national parks of Zambia, the epic safaris of Tanzania, Zanzibar with its turquoise waters, and finally, the majestic landscapes of Kenya.
Travelling on my own has enabled me to go beyond simple tourist stops. Each country offered me much more than beautiful landscapes: rich human exchanges, life lessons, and a deep respect for the cultural and natural diversity of this continent.
But this trip was also a personal reflection. I realized the extent to which travel can transform our perception of the world and of ourselves. And it’s this transformation that I wanted to convey.
The Turning Point: Sharing and Inspiring
At every stage of my trip, friends, family and even strangers would ask me questions: “How do you organize all this?”, “What are the must-see places?”, “Is this accessible for me?” These repeated questions made me realize that there was a need: to accompany travelers on authentic adventures, without the constraints and uncertainties of organization.
Africa is a continent often perceived as remote, complex or difficult to access by the uninitiated traveler. Yet it’s full of wonders and offers incomparable hospitality. So I wanted to become the bridge between travelers and these magnificent lands.
A Different Kind of Travel Agency
In May 2024, after my return to France, the idea of creating Travel With la French took shape. But there was no question of setting up a classic travel agency. I wanted every trip I organized to reflect the desires, needs and dreams of my customers. Each itinerary had to be unique, created with care, and based on my personal experience.
Through this agency, I rely on :

Launching this agency was a huge challenge. Between administrative formalities, training and building a network of partners, there were moments of doubt. But each hurdle I overcame only strengthened my conviction: to offer my customers the chance to experience adventures as rewarding as the ones I’ve had.
